WORLD RECORDS

A themed collection of rivers.

This collection celebrates rivers that hold unique titles. Take the Yarlung Tsangpo River, for example. Flowing at a staggering 5,210 meters (17,090 feet) above sea level, it’s recognized as the world’s highest major river. These fascinating statistics, while some might see them as unimportant, are truly worth noting. It’s important to remember, however, that experts can disagree, and there may be variations in some of these world records due to different measurement methods and potential biases.
